Penguin
Penguin Tetras are small, peaceful fish that make a great addition to community aquariums. They are native to South America and can be found in the Amazon River basin. Penguin Tetras are named after their black and white coloration, which resembles a penguin.
Penguin Tetras typically grow to be around 3-4 centimeters in length and prefer water temperatures between 24-28 degrees Celsius. They are omnivorous and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, frozen and live foods.
These fish are best kept in groups of at least 6 or more, as they are schooling fish by nature. They are generally peaceful, but can become aggressive towards smaller fish if they feel threatened or overcrowded. Penguin Tetras are relatively easy to care for and make a great addition to beginner and experienced aquarium hobbyists alike.
