Pearl
The Pearl Gourami is a popular and stunning freshwater fish that is known for its beautiful pearl-like scales. These fish can grow up to 10 centimeters in length and require a water temperature of around 24-28°C.
Pearl Gouramis are omnivores, which means that they eat both plant and animal-based foods. In the wild, they feed on insects, small crustaceans, and various types of algae. In captivity, they can be fed a diet of flakes or pellets, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworms.
These fish are also known for their peaceful nature and can be kept in a community tank with other non-aggressive fish. They prefer planted aquariums with plenty of hiding places and a dimly lit environment. With proper care, Pearl Gouramis can live up to 5 years or more, making them a great addition to any aquarium.
